colorwand
The feel of this liquid gel wand is almost as mesmerizing as the galactic illusion it produces. Vibrant colors create a cosmic, 3D, metallic effect that is only enhanced when layered. Elastic polymer and flex gel technology make for smooth, resistance-free application. Built for lasting wear, this formula is lightweight and waterproof with no flaking or transfer. Plus, it’s about double the size than most other gel products so you get more bang for your buck. Abracadabra!
All inaugural humanoid color shades are inspired by the nature of the city we call home, Los Angeles. As the world’s largest wildlands within a metropolis, creative sparks are never far. From the accidental beauty in urban sprawl to the abundant animal and plant life that peppers the coastlines, mountain tops and deserts of southern California’s mecca — our first colorway pays homage to the majestic wilderness of the city of angels.
glabra
The unofficial mascot of Southern California residential areas, bougainvillea can be found spilling over fences and crawling up houses nearly everywhere you look. The magenta flora creates a warm aura — both tropical and otherworldly.
It transforms simple buildings into secret garden hideaways. This plant ignites fanciful dreams, idyllic backdrops. An influencer has never walked past a trellis without a selfie. The purple and red blend invokes joy, health and warmth. Our wand is named for one of the two specimens of bougainvillea first described in California in 1881. “B. glabra.”
costas
The California deserts are home to a magical little winged-creature: Costa’s Hummingbird. Flittering across the vast beige expanse is this bird with its green back and white belly feathers. But it’s not the back and belly that catch your eye, it’s the deep violet crown and throat.
Maybe a headdress is a better way to describe it. The iridescent feathers emit a gradient shimmer that morphs from a fuschia to a deep purple to a glowing indigo blue. This bird looks like it’s ready for Studio 54. And it would win best dressed. It’s an elegant disco — we think that’s pretty cool.
figeater
A sign of summer’s start in Los Angeles, every June the appearance of this beetle signifies the ripening of stone fruit. It means fruit salads are about to get real sweet. Known by names such as June Beetle, Texas Beetle, Peach Beetle or Fig Eater —they’re gentle giants.
They’re cumbersome fliers, seemingly unsteady on their wings. No carefree gliding about. But their striking emerald armor is mesmerizing with its shimmering flecks of gold. The deep green is actually armor, an exoskeleton of bright color that protects the precious interior. What’s better than signaling warmth and hypnotic color while caring for yourself?
